Announcement of packaged CD-ROM for K20D and K200D

To customers who have purchased K20D and K200D
 
 

Please be informed that the installation of software for packaged CD-ROM ( S-SW74 ) for K20D and K200D.
Pentax has found that PENTAX PHOTO Browser 3, PENTAX PHOTO Laboratory 3 ( Version 3.5 ) which are contained with CD-ROM ( S-SW74 ) cannot be installed on Macintosh computers when click the language button for English, French, Germany, Spanish, Italian, Korean and Russian on the language selection screen.
Japanese, Chinese ( Traditional and Simplified ) and Windows ( all languages ) can be installed without any problems and can be used normally.

You can bypass these installer issues on your original CD-ROM by clicking on the Japanese and Chinese ( Traditional and Simplified ). The final installed version will be in the language which is used standard on your Macintosh computer.

The procedure is as follows :



  1. Double-click the [ CD-RM drive ( S-SW74 ) ] icon and then Double-click the [ PENTAX Software Installer ] icon. The language selection screen will be displayed. Click one of Japanese, Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese button. ( Square shown in the illustration below )

  2. Click [ PENTAX Digital Camera Utility ] and follow the instructions on the screen and continue with the Installation.
    The software is installed by the language which is used standard on your Macintosh computer.
