These counterfeit batteries do not meet our quality standards; therefore if you use these counterfeit batteries with your camera, the camera′s performance may be adversely affected, also possible that it will cause a serious problem.

In order to ensure safe camera operation, please do not use any such counterfeit lithium-ion battery and always use genuine PENTAX batteries for our digital cameras.

Please note that PENTAX does not take responsibility for any camera problems, accidents, and damage that may occur due to use of non-genuine PENTAX Lithium Ion batteries.
