	PENTAX to Exhibit Reference Products at Photo Imaging Expo 2005 in Tokyo

	PENTAX Corporation is pleased to announce the exhibition of the following reference products, all currently under development, at Photo Imaging Expo 2005. This is one of the largest annual photographic merchandize trade shows in Asia, and will be held this year from March 17 to 20 at Tokyo Big Site in Ariake, Tokyo. Reference Products 1.  Product type : Interchangeable telephoto zoom lens for exclusive use with PENTAX digital SLR cameras       Model name (tentative) : smc PENTAX-DA 50mm-200mm F4-5.6 ED       Major features : Compact, lightweight zoom lens designed for exclusive use with PENTAX KAF-mount digital SLR cameras Four-times zoom coverage in the telephoto range, featuring an angle of view from 31.5 degrees to 8.1 degrees (equivalent in focal length from 76.5mm to 306mm in the 35mm format), when mounted on the PENTAX *istD or *istDS digital SLR camera body 11-element/10-group optical construction incorporating ED (Extra-low Dispersion) optical elements 52mm filter size Dimensions (diameter x length): 66.5mm x 78.5mm (2.6" x 3.1") Weight: 260g (9.2 oz.)
